Visual Voices is still in progress. This fall, I am continuing interviews, site visits, classroom observations, and reading while beginning to try a few ideas in an elementary classroom.
Rather than rush to conclusions, I want this page to reflect what I am actually learning over time. As patterns begin to emerge across research, conversations, and classroom experiences, I will use this space to share the ideas and questions that seem to be holding up, as well as the places where my thinking changes.
This page will continue to grow as the project develops.
Questions and patterns I am starting to notice
As the project continues, I am paying attention to ideas that come up across more than one interview, classroom, or site visit. I am also looking for places where those ideas do not hold up. I will add more here as I have enough evidence to say something useful.
